The NRS Community Bed Plus is an electric, 4-section profiling bed with several adjustment options.

Designed for comfort and easy transport, this bed has electrically-adjustable height, tilt, backrest and leg rest elevation. Each section weighs less than 25kg when disassembled, to comply with manual handling guidance, making it easier for carers to safely work with the bed. Simple locking pins allow adjustment of the mattress platform height between the low and high settings to set it at the best position for different mattress thicknesses.

A 10 button handset operates the raise and lower function, backrest elevation and leg-rest elevation, and it has an auto-contour function that elevates the backrest and leg rest at the same time. The handset also allows the bed to be tilted head-down (Trendelenburg) and foot-down (reverse Trendelenburg). A small key locks the handset functions from operation if needed to prevent unauthorised use.

An optional battery back-up lets you operate the bed in case of mains power interruption.
