Invacare Universal Sling

This Invacare Universal Sling is specially designed to support the whole body including the shoulders.

Made from highly durable polyester ensures this sling is easy to apply and is compatible with all hoists that use hook and loop spreader bar systems e.g. Birdie Compact Folding Hoist. The Universal Sling is often preferred as an all-round sling for the elderly as it offers exceptional support for the whole body and provides the user with superior comfort as well as an unobstructed view. This is the medium sized Invacare Universal Polyester Sling ideal for users weighing 40kgs - 90kgs (6.25st - 14st); three other sizes and two different material types are also available in this section of the website. Please note this sling should only be used for patients that have good head control. The full range of Invacare Universal Slings have all been tested regardless of size, to allow for a maximum user weight of up to 200 kgs (31.5 stone).
